ANN JOHNSON
Ann Johnson will be leading a workshop about publishing, "Copyrights 101."
Ann is a composer, lyricist and songwriter. Since 2013 she has been mentoring other songwriters through Alpha & Omega Christian Songwriters, a local organization in the Pacific Northwest which she originated in the Seattle area. Since Ann relocated this summer to Vancouver, WA, the Alpha & Omega group is now meeting in Vancouver. They feature concerts, songwriter meetings and guest speakers on many current subjects, such as copyrights, performance techniques and finding the right niche for your talents in Christian music. Ann is currently working on several projects: an album of hymns, “A Hymn For All Seasons”, a tribute to hymn writer Isaac Watts (1674 - 1748); an opera, “Ruth and Boaz”, based on the Book of Ruth, from the Bible; a work honoring David and his musicianship. Ann also writes Christmas songs and worship songs on a daily basis. Ann lives in Vancouver Washington with her husband, Michael, a master electrician. |
